Hi, I’m Fraser, founder and Pit Master of Fraser’s BBQ. Born and bred in Hampshire, my passion for BBQ began over a decade ago, inspired by family friends in Wisconsin who taught me the basics. Since then, I’ve spent years experimenting with techniques, cuts, and seasonings, blending the bold flavours of traditional American BBQ with the finest English cuts.
I started Fraser’s BBQ because I saw a gap in the UK market for high-quality, affordable BBQ that could genuinely outshine supermarket offerings. I take pride in doing things properly—crafting products with care, using natural ingredients, and never taking shortcuts, because quality always comes first. One of my proudest creations is the Chilli Bacon, a shelf-stable bacon product made without nitrates, nitrites or sulphites, to keep it safe and delicious—a perfect example of simple ingredients done well.
Based in Lee-on-the-Solent, it’s very much a family affair. I run the business day to day, supported by my wife who takes care of our two sons. Family values and community are at the heart of everything I do, guiding the way I cook, serve, and connect with people.
My mission is simple: to introduce people across the UK to the rich, smoky flavours of authentic BBQ and to make every meal an occasion worth savouring.
